Your beehive may include modules you never use in your role. A service worker may not need Fundraising Pipeline; a fundraiser may not need Case Management. View Modules lets you hide them so your sidebar and home page show only what matters to you.

Before you start

  • No permission is needed. Anyone can choose which modules they see.
  • Your choices apply only to you, and only in the current beehive. They don’t change what your colleagues see.
  • Hiding a module doesn’t remove your access to it, and showing one doesn’t grant access. Permissions still decide what you can open and change.

Show or hide a module

  1. Open the account menu (your initials, top right) and choose View Modules.
  2. Each module your beehive has is listed with a switch. Turn a switch off to hide that module, or on to show it again.

Changes save automatically; the page shows Saving… while it works. Your sidebar updates straight away.

What hiding a module changes

When you hide a module:

  • Its group disappears from your sidebar.
  • Its Quick Actions tiles disappear from your home page.
  • If you hide Tasks, the Tasks button in the header and the My Tasks and Tasks I’m following panels on your home page disappear too.

Links to most of the module’s pages still work. If a colleague sends you a link to a hidden module, or you bookmark one, it usually opens as normal if you have permission. The Finance ledger is the exception: while you’ve hidden Finance, its page says Finance is not enabled for this organisation. Show the module again to use it.

If something goes wrong

If you see Could not save module visibility, your change wasn’t saved. Try the switch again.

If a module you expect isn’t listed at all, your beehive doesn’t have it. Ask your administrator.
