When supporters raise money for you on a platform such as JustGiving, each of their pages is recorded in ThirdSectorBee as a fundraising page. It’s linked to the supporter who runs it and to the fundraising activity it’s raising money for, so you can see who is fundraising for what and thank them.

Before you start

  • You need relationships:read:fundraisingactivities. See the permission catalogue.
  • A page is about the person running it, so you’ll only see pages whose owner’s contact record you’re allowed to see.
  • Pages come from integrations rather than being typed in. They’re created when you connect JustGiving and its sync runs, or when you import fundraising pages from Donorfy. There is no form in the app to create, edit or delete a page.

Browse pages

  1. Under Fundraising in the sidebar, open Fundraising Pages.
  2. Each row shows the page title, Platform, Type (Individual, or Team with its number of members), Target and Status.
  3. Type in Search by title… to find pages whose title contains your search.
  4. Choose a status from All statuses (Active, Completed or Cancelled) to narrow the list.

Open a page

Select a page’s title to open it. The page shows:

Field What it shows
Type Individual, or Team · N members
Platform Where the page lives, for example JustGiving
Target The fundraising target in the page’s currency, or a dash if none was set
Owner View owner opens the supporter’s contact record
Activity View activity opens the fundraising activity the page belongs to
External page Visit page opens the page on the provider’s website in a new tab. It only appears when the page has a web address.

The page record in ThirdSectorBee is a copy for your reference. It doesn’t publish a donation page, and the target and status are kept up to date by the integration, not edited here.

When you record a payment, choose the page in Page. If you’ve chosen an Activity first, the list shows only pages under that activity. Gifts linked to a page are counted under Fundraising pages on the giving dashboard.

If something goes wrong

  • “No fundraising pages yet. Pages appear here when supporters fundraise on a connected platform.” No pages have been brought in yet. Check that the integration is connected and has synced.
  • A page you expect is missing. For JustGiving, check its Activity mappings: pages for unmapped events are skipped. See Connect JustGiving. You may also not have access to the owner’s contact record.
  • “Page not found or failed to load.” The page may have been removed, or you may not have access. Choose Back to list.
