Each event’s page brings together the money it raised and the conversations it led to, so you can see what it achieved without searching through individual records.

Before you start

  • You need events:read:events to open the event.
  • To see the linked payments listed, you also need relationships:read:fundraisingactivities. To see the linked touchpoints, you need relationships:read:touchpoints.

See the permission catalogue.

Payments and touchpoints are counted when they’re linked to the event:

  • On a payment, choose the event in the Event field.
  • On a touchpoint, choose it under Associated event.

Read the figures

Open the event from Events → All Events. Under Income & engagement:

Figure What it shows
Received Total of linked payments with the status Paid
Outstanding Total of linked payments that are Pledged or Invoiced
Payments How many payments are linked
Distinct payers How many different contacts, organisations or resources the payments came from
Touchpoints How many touchpoints are linked, split into in and out
Contacts engaged How many different contacts, organisations or resources those touchpoints were with
Last touchpoint When the most recent one happened, or None yet

Amounts are shown in your beehive’s reporting currency. Outgoing payments, such as refunds, reduce the totals.

The Payments and Touchpoints lists

Below the figures, Payments lists each payment’s Date, Amount, Status and Payer, and Touchpoints lists each touchpoint’s Date, Type, Direction and who it was With. Select a name to open that contact, organisation or resource.

When some records are hidden

The figures always count every linked payment and touchpoint. The lists show only the ones you’re allowed to see. When some are withheld, you’ll see a note such as “2 payments are hidden because you don’t have access to them”. This means two colleagues can see the same totals but different lists. If you need to see more, ask your administrator about your permissions.
