Choosing Publish (or Publish changes) opens a dialog that checks the form before it goes live. Opening it doesn’t save anything. If anything would stop the form working for supporters, it’s listed and the form can’t be published until it’s fixed. The dialog also shows What gets recorded.
Checks that stop publishing

The Stripe and GoCardless checks wait for their status to load. The Money and Permission panes show a Needs attention dot while something there needs setting up.
When publishing fails

If a published form fails to publish changes, supporters keep seeing the previous version.
