The memberships dashboard shows how your membership base is doing this year: how many people are members, how many memberships are lapsing, the income you can expect and how members pay.
Before you start
You need memberships:read:memberships. See the permission catalogue.
Open the dashboard
In the sidebar, open Memberships → Dashboard.
What each figure means
| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Members | Different people covered by an Active or Lapsing membership. Someone covered by two memberships counts once. The line underneath gives the number of current memberships, and a group membership can cover several people |
| Lapsing | Memberships inside their lapsing window, due to expire soon. These are already included in the current memberships behind Members, not extra to them |
| Expected income | The current price of each membership’s type, for memberships starting this calendar year, leaving out cancelled ones. Each currency has its own total |
| How members pay, by month | Memberships starting in each month of this year, split into Free, One-off and Recurring. Cancelled memberships are left out |
Pending, Expired and Cancelled memberships don’t count towards Members. Pending memberships are those still waiting for a one-off payment to be marked as paid.
Expected income is an estimate
Expected income is not money received. It’s worked out from today’s membership type prices, so changing a type’s price changes this figure for memberships already issued. Free types add nothing, and a membership whose type can’t be found isn’t counted. To see what you’ve actually received, look at your payments.
